Overview

The benefits of using ezySkillz ISJST to deliver your Intensive Support Job Search Training to your clients: -

  • Training can be delivered as a rolling start as each client is able to commence immediately upon Employment Consultant completing assessment.  The assessment has been provided to comply with DEWR requirements associated with reasoning for commencing client into 100 Hours ISJST or 30 Hours ISJSTR.  The assessment is then printed and kept at a hardcopy for the clients file.

  • ezySkillz ISJST is a cost effective way in delivering training to clients.  The retention rate is expected to be high based on studies of participants attending computer-based training.

  • ezySkillz ISJST provides clients who have little to no experience in operating computers the confidence to develop these skills through participating.

  • ezySkillz ISJST is very intensive and provides more information than that of most Intensive Support Job Search Training programs.  Modules covered include and are not limited to: -

    • Initial Assessment – Performed by Consultant

    • Literacy Assessment Test – Performed by Client

    • Goal Setting.

    • Vocational Assessment Test – General.

    • Completes a SWOT Analysis – Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats

    • Identifies skills and teaches the client how to quantify their skills.

    • Designs and develops the clients professional resume and application letters.

    • The client will design their own Investigative Interview ready to contact potential employers.

    • The client develops their personal marketing plan based on their SWOT Analysis.

    • The client is also required to identify networking contacts

    • The client is able to design his or her own Post Placement Support program to assist the Consultant in providing support once employment has been commenced, to meet with the clients personal preference.  It also provides the client with an understanding of the process involved with Post Placement Support.

    • During the training the information entered by the client will collate into a Business and Marketing Plan representing the client.  The Plan / Report will be printed, with a copy for the client and a copy for the Consultant.  This will enable the client and consultant to refer to the report as part of the process in applying for positions of employment and for Post Placement Support Purposes.

    • ezySkillz ISJST is expected to be more intensive with information provided to each client and covers issues relating to potential barriers and management techniques.  The complete package is expected to be equivalent to more than the required 100 hours.  Depending on the client’s efficiency in researching and entering information, they may complete training prior to 100 hours of participation.  The time remaining can be utilized to put the training into practice in a secure and supportive environment.

    • The program automatically records attendance and hours completed by the client for record keeping purposes.  It provides evidence of all modules completed and evidence of a professional resume and application letter.  This alleviates the demands placed on the Consultants in record keeping.

    • ezySkillz ISJST has been designed to maintain the interest of a diverse range of clients and is developed as a fun and interactive training package.  As the client completes each module they gain a trophy for that module which they can view in the trophy room.

    • Most importantly the training package has been used in manual form and has been achieving positive results by both Job Network Clients and Disability Employment Network Clients.

The designers of ezySkillz ISJST have used their skills in developing the package with the idea that it will be user friendly for the client, provide a thorough understanding of the how’s and why’s of job searching, to be cost effective for the organisation and support the Employment Consultants in managing the increasing demands of administration and record keeping.
